Some of the items typically found for sale at the San Telmo Fair include antiques, paintings, mate gourds, belts, jewelry, sculptures, glassware, photographs, hats and other clothing.

Another great aspect of the San Telmo Fair is all of the street performers, tango dancers, puppet shows, and living statues that entertain the crowds of shoppers.

Plaza Dorrego is bordered by the streets of Defensa and Humberto Primero near the Telmho Hotel Boutique.

The fair usually takes over the Plaza Dorrego and extends down Defensa street all the way to Parque Lezama (Lezama Park).
