After reaching the start of the trail or "sendero", you walk along the river until you can hear the waterfalls and then reach them a few minutes later.

The Tres Cascadas are relatively small yet very picturesque in their lush green mountain region setting.

Although the water was cold, we braved the falls in order to get some group photos.

Some of the wildlife we saw during this trip was a few cows and a some Giant Bufo Toads.
