Some of the landmarks in the area include Alvear Plaza, Carlos Pellegrini, the French Embassy, the Brazilian Embassy, the Park Hyatt Hotel, the Vatican Embassy, and Hotel Alvear.

A few of the well known name brands that have stores on Alvear Avenue are Armani, Valentino, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Cartier, Jean Pierre, Ralph Lauren, Ariete, and James Smart.

We really enjoyed walking along Avenida Alvear checking out all of the high end merchandise in the store windows.

At the end of the walk, we came upon the Alvear Plaza with a statue dedicated to Carlos Pellegrini.
