Pictures and visitor information from a trip to the Abasto Shopping Center located in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The Abasto Shopping Center is located at Corrientes 3247 between Anchorena and Aguero in the Balvanera neighborhood of Buenos Aires.

There are over 250 stores, which are open from 10 AM to 10 PM every day includng brands such as Nike, Adidas, Lacoste, Christian Dior and many others.

To reach the Abasto Shopping Center, you can either take one of the many local buses or ride the subway "Subte B" line to the Carlos Gardel station.

Even if you're not planning on shopping, the Abasto Shopping Mall is worth a visit to see the archictecture of the 1930's art deco building. There is also a nice statue of Carlos Gardel, the famous tango singer, located outside of the main entrance.

Two of the biggest attractions in the Abasto Shopping Mall are the Neverland Park and the Museo De Los Ninos (Museum of the Kids). Fans of carnival rides will not want to miss going for a spin on the massive Ferris wheel that reaches to the top of the mall's semi-circle roof.
